Today my heart aches for the innocent Miss Kathlyn Shepard and her family. Also, those of Desi Hughes. I am frightened for our futures… that our children can no longer be independent. I am so very proud and full of admiration for Desi and what she was able to do. Her soul will be saved, but the innocence is tainted. She is a survivor. And she should stand tall for all the other children.

I cannot imagine losing my son. Especially not so brutally. He may forever be upset by the measures I put in place to keep him safe… because NO parent deserves to lose a CHILD!

REST IN PEACE, KATHLYN.
